Plot. When 29-year-old London stockbroker Nicholas Winton visits Czechoslovakia in 1938, just weeks after the Munich Agreement was signed, he encounters families in Prague who had fled the rise of the Nazis in Germany and Austria. They are living in poor conditions, with little or no shelter or food and in fear of the invasion of the Nazis.
ONE LIFE tells the true story of Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton, a young London broker (Johnny Flynn), who, along with Trevor Chadwick (Alex Sharp) and Doreen Warriner (Romola Garai), rescued 669 children from the Nazis in the months leading up to World War II.
