The grandfather in a close-knit family, recounts the legend of Santa on a snowy Christmas Eve. While on a pilgrimage in Spain, St. Nicholas, a Christian bishop, is persecuted for his Christianity and arrested. In jail, St. Nick meets Pete, a young Black Moor working as the prison cook.
