Synopsis. American draft dodger Kevin (Joseph Kaufmann) and his hippie girl friend Terry (Jennifer Billingsley) are hitchhiking along a rural road in the mountains of north-central Mexico when they encounter Wicks (Alex Rocco), a middle-aged American who heads a band of mercenary soldiers and invites them to his headquarters.
Brute Corps, a 1970s drive-in/grindhouse film, veers slightly out of my comfort zone into exploitation territory, but it is also a surprisingly well-made survivalist thriller that makes good use of tracking shots and cinematography.
A hippy couple travelling cross country run foul of a band of mercenaries.
