Cinema Retro. BY LEE PFEIFFER. There is an old joke about a brain surgeon who must call a plumber to fix a broken pipe that is flooding his basement in the middle of the night. The plumber arrives and quickly fixes the problem then hands the brain surgeon a bill for his services.
Loam, his family and friends, and Crichton are shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island. The resourceful Crichton is the only one of the party with any practical knowledge, and he assumes, initially with reluctance, the position of leader.
