While being berated for her depressed mood, Weiss remembers her time at Beacon. She remembers the people she met, her course work, and the time she defeated Cardin Winchesterin an obstacle course.

Still in the Forest of Hinoki on the Continent of Anima, RNJR come across a lone egg in a bird nest before noticing that nearby village was being attacked by a Manticore. They go to help the village but the villagers attacked them instead.
