Low-budgeted adventure film shot in Spain about a group of drifters seek for a treasure and arrive in a lost island. As a bunch of adventurers, hustlers and crooks came to Makuba, fabulous for its Polynesian pearls, full of its strange rites and its exotic women.
The group arrive at the treasure site and find only an empty chest. Maroa confesses to Coogan that the pearls were taken by her brother for an offering to the island god. Although they recover the gems, Hank kills the native chief, shifts the blame to Coogan and Maroa, and absconds with the pearls.
Four men and an enslaved woman are on a quest for a mysterious treasure. It turns out the treasure they are looking for is not what they expected. Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
