Who's Next is the fifth studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 2 August 1971. It developed from the aborted Lifehouse project, a multi-media rock opera conceived by the group's guitarist Pete Townshend as a follow-up to the band's 1969 album Tommy.

Aug 28, 2008 · 'Who's Next' deserves to be a major rock classic because the lyrics, delivery, and skillful musicianship are stunning and almost matchless after thirty-five years. The best moments from the CD still raise hairs on the back of the neck.
