The Mystery of the Yellow Room (French: Le Mystère de la chambre jaune) is a 2003 French comedy film based on the 1907 novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux. It was followed by a sequel The Perfume of the Lady in Black in 2005.

It's an eloquent depiction of the Roaring Twenties, a genteel homage to silent cinema and there's no whiff of betrayal of Leroux's novel which has kept its intriguing mystery and its pedantic investigation for our greatest pleasure.
