But it didn’t play in Los Angeles till 1976, and when it did it played under the title Stud Brown, and sold completely as a Slaughter-like blaxploitation flick. During the week of its engagement, they played wall-to-wall radio spots on the most popular soul music radio station in LA, 1580 KDAY.
