Stage Fright is a 2014 Canadian musical comedy slasher film directed by Jerome Sable and is his feature-film directorial debut. The film had its world release on March 10, 2014 at South by Southwest, a VOD release on April 3, 2014, and a theatrical release on May 9.
A film noir about a young actress who helps her friend, a suspected murderer, by infiltrating the house of his mistress. She falls in love with the detective investigating the case and faces a web of lies and deception.
Synopsis. In London, as budding actress Eve Gill helps a frantic Jonathan Cooper escape from the police, he relates the events that led to his being accused of murder: Actress Charlotte Inwood, Jonathan's lover, arrives at his door, her dress covered in blood, and tells him that she killed her husband during a quarrel.
