Who Killed Mary What's 'Er Name? ★★ Death of a Hooker 1971 (PG) A diabetic ex-fighter tracks a prostitute's killer through Greenwich Village. Illogical, incredible and disjointed attempt at comedy/mystery. Odd, unsatisfying ending, with the boxer going into a coma. Good supporting cast. 90m/C VHS.
A prostitute is murdered on the streets of a tough, low-income neighborhood. A resident who knew her is appalled by the lack of interest shown in the case by the police or anybody else in the neighborhood, and decides to investigate the case himself.
