The drama was based on a hit 1992-2008 manga series that was authored by Yoko Kamio. “BOYS OVER FLOWERS” is a 2005 Japanese drama series that was directed by Yasuharu Ishii. Inoue Mao stands up to the rich-kid bully Jun Matsumoto, who then unexpectedly falls for her – as does his pal Oguri Shun!
