May 8, 2015 · This action lands him in a nursing home, out of whose window he climbs on his 100 th birthday. The nursing home staff never finds him (that’s not really a spoiler), but we follow him on his subsequent adventure, which is intercut with his narration and flashbacks of his picaresque 100-year life.
In 2005, Allan Karlsson ( Robert Gustafsson) lives alone with his pet cat Molotov as his only company. When Molotov is killed by a fox, an enraged Allan gets revenge by blowing up the fox using dynamite, which prompts the authorities to move him to a retirement home in Malmköping.

May 8, 2015 · There’s nothing spectacular about this film, but, as a quirky Swedish film about a 100-year-old man and his shenanigans with a crazy biker gang, it gets the job done; with a funny script, great characters and a unique story in a film filled with personality and a surprisingly dark under layer.
