Crossfire (1947), one of the best film noirs to come out of RKO Studios, is a film of many firsts. It was executive producer Dore Schary's first film for RKO (he would take over as chief of production at MGM in 1948).
A film noir about a murder investigation involving a group of demobilized soldiers and a Jewish victim. The plot follows the police captain, the soldier who tries to clear his friend, and the real killer who has a dark secret.
