In search of inexpensive psychiatric treatment, three "nuts," Saxie Symbol, Joe Lynch, and Bruce Bernard, pool their limited funds and pay an unemployed actor, Tommy, to go to a leading psychiatrist, Dr. Myra Von, and act out all of their personalities.
