The film tells the story of Count Dracula, the owner of the titular Hotel Transylvania where the world's monsters can take a rest from human civilization. Dracula invites some of the most famous monsters to celebrate the 118th birthday of his beloved daughter Mavis.
The first film, Hotel Transylvania, was released in September 2012, with five sequels, Hotel Transylvania 2, Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, and Hotel Transylvania 5 were released in September 2015, July 2018, January 2022, and March 2024 respectively.
