Kate, a depressed thirty-something who unsuccessfully attempts suicide by slitting her wrists. Joe Gayton directs this sensuous study of a man and woman disenchanted with life and out of love with love. Ditching her previous life, Kate heads to the desert, where she gets drunk in a bar and wakes up in bed with — and married to — a stranger.
Summaries. A woman tries to kill herself and ends up in the hospital. She escapes and wanders into the desert. There she comes upon a roadside bar where she gets extremely drunk with the locals and a mysterious man, who seems to be shy of policemen.
