Fools for Scandal is a enjoyable screwball comedy at times with French-Belgian Fernand Gravey in hot pursuit of Carole Lombard. Charming at first, but got quite annoying after a while. Especially because the rival Ralph Bellamy was made to look like a complete joke.

Synopsis by Hal Erickson. In her only Warner Bros. starring film, Carole Lombard plays a Hollywood movie actress who makes the park-bench acquaintance of an impoverished French marquis (Fernand Gravet). Hoping to coerce Carole into marriage, the nobleman poses as a butler and enters her household.
