Dec 31, 2014 · Barbara Stanwyck acts and dances well and she's playing a burlesque dancer, not a cunning femme-fatale or calculating, evil woman. Which is what she was normally cast into. That and a terrible TV show called the Big Valley which was dull and pointless.
