Lucky Stars. Lucky Stars (or Five Lucky Stars ); ( Chinese: 福星系列、五福星) was a Hong Kong action comedy film series in the 1980s and 1990s, blending Chinese martial arts with bawdy comedy. The films featured an ensemble cast, with many of the actors appearing in successive films.
Hong Kong Police Supt. Walter Tso arrests Big Dai, the reformed leader of a criminal corporation. When Dai asked his brother Richard Mao to turn himself in to the police, he betrays him and decides to take over the corporation. Dai is imprisoned and an informant is murdered by one of Mao's men.
