  7. Melinda is a nifty blaxploitation thriller, following Calvin Lockhart’s narcissistic DJ as he becomes embroiled in murder and conspiracy. Lockhart is awesome in role, nailing the transformation from womanizing jerk into seething anxious noir antihero smashing and scheming through the underworld.
