Aug 28, 2019 · Ssegawa-Ssekintu Kiwanuka (PhD, 2009) is a classic Cambridge polymath. Juggling a PhD in chemical engineering, fronting Clean Bandit and captaining the University Boxing team would be enough for most people!
Sep 13, 2011 · Cambridge PhD student Ssegawa Ssekintu Kiwanuka has topped a list of the UK’s most outstanding black students. All were ranked in the top 100 by magazine Future Leaders, a publication which aims to inspire children from Britain’s African and African-Caribbean communities to apply to university.
The original vocalist, Ssegawa-Ssekintu Kiwanuka, left to undertake a PhD in laser analytics. In 2011, Chatto and Jack Patterson formed their own film production company, Cleanfilm, to make music videos for themselves and other artists.
