Doug Scarratt ( Hove, 7 of September of 1959) is a musician and composer English known as the guitarist of the band of heavy metal Saxon, from 1996 to today. [ 1 ] At the age of twelve he received his first guitar, which he learned to play in a self-taught way.
Doug Scarratt joined the band in 1995. During 1994, Saxon recorded the album Dogs of War. Shortly afterwards, Graham Oliver was fired by the band in 1995. The band replaced Oliver with Doug Scarratt, a longtime friend of drummer Nigel Glockler.
