Stefan Konrad Raab (born 20 October 1966) is a German television producer, businessman, and former entertainer and television host. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late-night comedy talk show TV total and has also created a number of other television shows, such as Schlag den Raab and Bundesvision Song Contest .

Er wurde ab 1993 als Moderator der Comedy -Musiksendung Vivasion bekannt. 1999 wechselte er zu ProSieben und entwickelte mit seiner Produktionsfirma RaabTV zahlreiche Unterhaltungsformate.

In 1998, Brainpool TV GmbH acquired a 50% stake in the production company Stefan Raab TV GmbH, founded by Raab. Raab then acquired a 25% stake in Brainpool TV. In 1999, Raab got his own TV show "TV Total" on the private broadcaster Pro7, which was initially broadcast weekly.
