Denny DeMarchi (28 November 1962 – 15 May 2020) was a Canadian musician best known as a keyboardist and singer-songwriter. He was also a guitarist, backing vocalist, audio engineer and record producer.
The Canadian music community is mourning the loss of Denny DeMarchi on Friday after a battle with cancer. The Toronto native played with bands like The Cranberries and Alias (he played keyboards on the 1990 hit ballad “More Than Words Can Say”) as well as with the late Dolores O’Riordan.

Denny DeMarchi (28 November 1962 – 15 May 2020) was a Canadian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter. He was born in Toronto . He was a tour musician for the well-known Irish band The Cranberries during their reunion tour (2009–11).
"More Than Words Can Say" was written, arranged, and co-produced by former Sheriff vocalist Freddy Curci and guitarist Steve DeMarchi. DeMarchi's younger brother Denny played the keyboard and sang the backing vocals. Curci recorded the vocals in Denny DeMarchi's bedroom at DeMarchi's family home.
