Fantina Polo (1303 – between 28 August 1375 and 18 December 1385) was a noblewoman of the Republic of Venice.
The first document—the “Fantina Polo Map 1” (see pl. 6)—is a map covering Europe, northern Africa, and Asia, set in a kind of “longitude-latitude” grid, with place-names referred to by a series of Roman numerals. The map is signed “Fantina Polo” with the year “1329.”

The elements were illustrated on three maps (Moreta Polo Map 2 (verso), Moreta Polo map 1, and the Fantina Polo Map 1) and spoken of in some of the accompanying texts.
