Before this film, I had two children. My perspective got turned upside down. And I wanted to produce a documentary on climate change because it's urgent. I'm not a journalist, but we share something with you which is the addiction to urgency. I have that for sure.
So I didn't really know her, but she told our mutual friend Carrie Brownstein, 'Hey, there's a curatorial practice program at California College of the Arts.' And Carrie said, 'Call Audrey!' So I guess you could say, if Miranda July and Carrie Brownstein hadn't told me, I wouldn't have gone to grad school. But I almost didn't make it through.

Because I'm great at chaos! I'm serious, I am. I love chaos. I love finding solutions to many problems at the same time. I love seeing paths to things that nobody else does. It's incredibly satisfying to me.
