Saovabhark Nariratana [1] ( Thai: เสาวภาคย์นารีรัตน์; RTGS : Saowaphak Narirat ), born Princess Piu Ladavalya ( Thai: ปิ๋ว ลดาวัลย์; RTGS : Pio Ladawan; 26 January 1854 – 21 July 1887) was a consort of Chulalongkorn, the King of Siam. Sirivannavari graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chulalongkorn University and a master's in design from Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. She was elevated to Princess status by royal command of her grandfather, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, on 15 June 2005.
- She’s the only daughter of the Thai King Vajiralongkorn and his former consort Sujarinee Vivacharawongse. The princess’s mother was the former consort and then the second wife of King Vajiralongkorn.
- She’s a fashion designer. She has her own fashion line, called Sirivannavari. The famed designer Pierre Balmain invited her to present her debut collection in 2007 at Paris Fashion Week.
- She writes poetry. The princess began writing poetry a few years ago. The poem that inspired one of her fashion collections is a story about a military officer, Henri, and a country girl, Helen, whose union was brought about by the soldier’s horse.
- She’s a prize-winning equestrian. Sirivannavari began riding horses at the age of nine, and her skills cover three disciplines: dressage, eventing and jumping.
