Claude Lamoral, 3rd Prince of Ligne, Prince of Epinoy, Marquis of Roubaix and Count of Fauquemberg (8 October 1618 – 21 December 1679), was a nobleman from the Spanish Netherlands, a soldier and diplomat in the service of Philip IV of Spain and Charles II of Spain.
Claude Lamoral (1618–1679), 3rd Prince of Ligne, married his brother's widow; had issue. Anne (1590–1651), married Felipe Folch de Cardona , Marquis of Guadelesta ; had one daughter: Maria Felipa (b. 1614), who married Don Francisco de Palafox y Blanes, Marquis of Ariza, Señor de Cortes.
Lamoral I received the titles of Prince of Ligne and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire in the early seventeenth century from Emperor Rudolf II. The Princes of Ligne are also Grandees of Spain , but this dignity is held personally rather than in conjunction with the title.
