Pretoria Boys High School is a traditional boys school located on an 85-acre campus southeast of the city centre. Established in 1901, it is one of the oldest schools in the province. With an enrolment of around 1500 pupils it is the largest boys’ school in South Africa.
2025: GRADE 8 DAY BOY APPLICATION PROCESS. The Grade 8 admission process for 2025 is run entirely by the Department of Education and parents are required to apply directly through the Department of Education on www.gdeadmissions.gov.za. This process will open later this year.
