Oakdale Comprehensive School was a comprehensive school located in the village of Oakdale, Caerphilly Oakdale in Caerphilly county, Wales. The total enrollment was about 660 pupils aged 11 to 16. Sixth-form provision was at Coleg Gwent in Crosskeys and Ystrad Mynach College.
At Oakdale Comprehensive we have around 600 pupils, 40 teachers and 13 support staff making up the school community. The school occupies a large building and, as a result of the extensive refurbishment which is being carried out, we are able to enjoy a pleasant, safe and stimulating school environment.
Nov 5, 2021 · The school buildings on the Oakdale site were cleared ( at a cost of £776,777) and the site now looks set for a new housing development. Unlike other residential estates though, a private company will not be behind the plans.
