- About Us
Dartford Grammar School was founded in 1576 and is one of the oldest schools in England. For nearly 450 years, Dartford Grammar School has enabled young people from Dartford and its surrounding area to achieve great things.
Dartford Grammar School is a secondary foundation school for boys (ages 11–19) in Dartford, Kent, England, which admits girls to its sixth form (ages 16–18). All of the students joining the school are considered to be from the top 25% of the ability range, as determined by the 11-Plus examinations.
Click here for Admissions Policy. The school will admit 180 boys into Year 7 each September. We use the Kent Age 11 Procedure for Entrance to Secondary Education (PESE) tests. Parents and guardians must apply for their sons to take these tests during the summer of Year 5.
