Zhong Lin Wang (Chinese: 王中林; pinyin: Wáng Zhōnglín; born November 1961) is a Chinese-American physicist, materials scientist and engineer specialized in nanotechnology, energy science and electronics.
Wang has made innovative contributions to the synthesis, discovery, characterization and understanding of fundamental physical properties of oxide nanobelts and nanowires, as well as applications of nanowires in energy sciences, electronics, optoelectronics and biological science.
Dr. Zhong Lin Wang is a renowned professor and director at Georgia Tech, who has made groundbreaking contributions to nanostructure synthesis, characterization and applications. He is a foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a fellow of several academic societies, and a prolific author and inventor in nanotechnology.
