S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a first-person-shooter survival horror video game franchise developed by Ukrainian game developer GSC Game World. The series is set in an alternate version of the present-day Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in Ukraine, where, according to the series' backstory, a mysterious second Chernobyl disaster took place in 2006.

Strelok is the main protagonist of the game. Having survived the crash of a Death truck, Strelok was rescued by an anonymous stalker and Sidorovich. With little memory left, Strelok, dubbed as the Marked One as a reference to his S.T.A.L.K.E.R. tattoo, is only left with a PDA entry reading "Kill Strelok".
While his CGI model from Shadow of Chernobyl is reused in the ending cinematic, Strelok doesn't have a proper in-game model in Clear Sky. Hired to Hunt Yourself: Well, brainwashed rather than hired, but the C-Consciousness tasks him with hunting down and killing Strelok.
