The Prague Conservatory, founded in 1808, is one of the oldest conservatories in Europe. It is located in the very city centre, near Rudolfinum. On the occassion of 200 year anniversary of its foundation the Prague Conservatory was given a new concert and theatre hall.

Prague Conservatory celebrated the 200th anniversary of its founding in 2011 with a new concert hall and theatre. Although the building is situated in the city centre, it is partially hidden from the eyes of passers-by.
