Dec 19, 2022 · HNU, a 154-year old Catholic university in Oakland, announced it will cease operations after the spring semester due to financial and enrollment challenges. Students will have the option to transfer to Dominican University of California or other institutions, while faculty and staff will be considered for similar roles.
