The 'Wonder Boy' in question is a nameless character (called 'Tom-Tom' in most localizations) – a tribal caveman-like boy whose girlfriend by the name of 'Tina' (renamed 'Tanya' in certain ports) has been captured by the dark King (sometimes known as Drancon).
