Hwa Chong Institution Military Band, formed in 1967, is a CCA where people come together to perform music ranging from pop songs to classical pieces. HCIMB performs at various school events such as Flag Raising and Open House.

The Hwa Chong youth flying club is a unique CCA aimed at promoting aviation amongst Singapore youths. The CCA allows students the chance to learn about flight simulators, glider building and drone flying.
We are Hwa Chong Canoeing, a CCA which has enjoyed decades of rich history and is one of Hwa Chong’s most prestigious sports teams. Here at HCanoe, you can look forward to gliding on the waters of Singapore, and seeing the world through an entirely different lens.
Hwa Chong Cross-Country is a CCA that primarily focuses on long distance running, and takes part in both the Cross-Country and Track and Field National School Games. It is helmed by one of Singapore’s most renowned and experienced coaches, Mr Steven Quek, who helps his student-athletes excel in both their sports and studies.

Typically, CCA sessions are held on Thursdays, dedicated to planning and executing various batch projects that positively affect the community. The central mission of the CIP Council is to cultivate a culture of generosity and kindness within Hwa Chong and to build a community founded on compassion.
