  7. After the war the Bishop of Singapore changed its name to St. Margaret’s School in 1949, after Queen Margaret of Scotland. The school soon recovered from its wartime setbacks and set about consolidating its curriculum and provided students with a broad based education in the academic, physical, social, moral and spiritual domains.
