The FortiClient EMS server can push out VPN configurations to endpoints under it's control. We're using the FortiClient for VPN only, and it works like a charm. Our firewall is connected to Active Directory, so users can authenticate to the VPN using their domain credentials. FortiGate 80C (older model).

Aug 22, 2023 · Install the forticlient app from MS Appstore. This installs a vpn type in the Windows native vpn gui. So you can do ssl vpn to Fortigate with the look and feel of Windows vpn. Tried it on Windows 10, worked but was a pain with split tunneling. The Windows IKE parameters are pretty terrible by default.

Jul 24, 2019 · You may want to look at getting a FortiGate on your side to connect your clients back to your location with IPSec VPN tunnels. There are likely models that are more cost effetive than buying a Mac to use the OS X Cisco VPN client.
