Appointments & Referrals. Consultation at our Specialist Outpatient Clinics is by appointment only. For first-visit appointments: You may wish to visit a General Practitioner (GP) clinic or polyclinic for an initial assessment.
At IMH, volunteers spend time conversing, encouraging and befriending our inpatients so that they have social contact with others besides their regular care team and family members. Volunteers are also an important source of support for many of our patients.
The new Graduate Diploma in Mental Health is jointly organised between IMH and NUS. This course provides GPs with the knowledge and skills to competently treat basic mental health conditions at their clinics.
