Aug 19, 2017 · At present I have multiple user accounts and wish to use these with Syn Cloud Station and DS Cloud (iPhone and Android). The setup is as follows: Daddy_Bear (Admin) Daddy_Bear (User) Mummy Bear (User) mainly transfers files between DS and laptop and iPhone. Sonny_Bear (User) mainly as backup for photos and student files via laptop and Android.
ssh works fine on local network, and remotely using xxx.synology.me dns and port forwarding on my router. I set up authentication by private key and it works fine. BUT: remote ssh using quickconnect (quickconnectid.de.quickconnect.to) asks for password, not the key passphrase.

Jan 15, 2020 · I fixed it by going to Network -> Network Interface -> select which ever interface is active and click edit. Change the DNS Server there to 8.8.8.8. That worked for me. I am now able to use Quick Connet with a static ip address. P. Pedro Robles @probles. Mar 05, 2023.
Sep 5, 2018 · Quickconnect not so quick anymore. My knowledge of IT and software is extremely limited, however despite my lack of IT knowledge I've managed to set up my NAS drive. When I set up the NAZ originally remote access via Quickconnect was very quick, however since I've played around with some settings remote access is painfully slow.

I was successfully able to connect to API in this way: 1. access via web portal and take note of the redirected url in my case if was <my_nas_name>. fr1.quickconnect.to I think that the prefix fr1 can change in your case. In the following points I am using windows curl syntax for testing.

If that's someone's quickconnect Id, then perhaps I can get my quickconnect Id to work as well.
