Sep 24, 2024 · Macro works fine on photo mode but on video mode it only works on 4k 60, HD 30, and HD 60. It does not work on 4k 24 or 4k 30 it freezes and then restarts with the main camera. Here’s a video link showing what happens with the macro: I’ve come across another camera issue in addition to the macro lens freezing in 4K 24 and 4K 30.
Apr 22, 2020 · Some folks think 4K scaled to 1440p looks better than straight up 1440p. Other folks think straight up 1440p is just fine. Do note that scaling does use more computer resources than just driving the display with no scaling. I also believe fractional scaling such as 1440p on 4K (1:1.5) uses more resources than integer scaling like 1080p on 4K (1:2).
Mar 25, 2018 · Mar 25, 2018. #1. After getting a 4K display (which is plugged via usb-c dock), the fans of my MBP start running at highest speed possible when I play a 1080p video from YouTube. Computer also gets warm and the video doesn't play smoothly. This issue does not occur on Safari, but occurs on Chrome and Firefox.
Jul 31, 2018 · I currently have a base 15" 2018 that I know will chug through my basic 4k video editing needs of some phantom 4 pro footage. The question is if the 13" can do it just as well or at even 80% capacity. IF it can then I will stick with the 13" because of its size, portability and price. For a 16/512 model its still $200 less than a base model 15".
Dec 5, 2015 · 2,825. San Jose, CA. Dec 4, 2015. #2. 4K = 3840 x 2160. 2K = 2560 x 1440. The iPad Pro is 2732 x 2048, so you can only really utilize a maximum of a 2K resolution in a 16:9 format. YouTube doesn't support 2K yet on the iPad Pro, but I believe you can use a third party player such as nPlayer to watch 2K / 4K (downscaled) movies.

If you're on Monterey 12.1, you still have to change your user agent in Safari. Menu bar-> Safari->Preferences->Advanced->Show Develop in Menu Bar.

The 4K resolution will be packed in to a smaller resolution with a lot of pixel density it will look incredible for sure. 1080P is around 16.7million colors. 4K is over a billion colors.
