Ahsoka Tano was created for the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars by original Star Wars creator George Lucas and The Clone Wars supervising director Dave Filoni. Voiced by Ashley Eckstein, the character is introduced as the Jedi apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, the main character of the Star Wars prequel films.
As̅oka is a 2001 Indian Hindi -language epic historical drama film directed and co-written by Santosh Sivan. It is a dramatized version of the early life of emperor Asoka, of the Maurya Empire, who ruled most of the Indian subcontinent in the 3rd century BCE.

Less than Andor, definitely more Boba Fett and Kenobi. For all Star Wars fans, and mainly those of us who have seen the animated series, the character of Ahsoka Tano means a lot. That's why when the news broke that his series would be coming out, we all saw it with some concern.
