Connecting what I see to what I hear is something that is really important to me and it is this exploration between my jazz roots and my film aesthetic that has lead me to create this album. Chris Hajian: I was born in Queens, New York City in 1964 into a very creative family environment. Both of my parents are of Armenian heritage. My grandparents on my mother’s side are Genocide survivors.
