James Price is a British art director and production designer. He won an Academy Award in the category Best Production Design for the film Poor Things. [1] [2] At the 77th British Academy Film Awards, he won a BAFTA Award for Best Production Design. His win was shared with Shona Heath and Zsuzsa Mihalek. [3]
James Price (1752–1783), born James Higginbottom, was an English chemist and alchemist who claimed to be able to turn mercury into silver or gold. When challenged to perform the conversion a second time in front of credible witnesses, he instead killed himself by drinking prussic acid (hydrogen cyanide).
