If Youre Thinking of Hosting a Server On Your Own Pc I Would not reccomend it as they can take up a heck of alot of hard drive space and ram, although if its only for Four people then it should be fine But i would reccomend aternos.org its a free minecraft server hosting site that dosent require surveys or any stuff like that but it aint 24/7

Goodluck. If you want a server just to play with your friends try aternos.org or server.pro. They aren't permanent servers but aternos stays on as long as your slots are maxed out. And server.pro stays on for 2 hours.
Dec 29, 2018 · I checked the server console on the website, and each time I was kicked, the log said "Can't keep up! Is the server overloaded? Running 2020ms or 40 ticks [usually around 40] behind". I made my friend host the server instead by logging into my Aternos account and hosting it from their computer, and I am still getting kicked while they are not.
