Flower Dome is an awe-inspiring part of Gardens by the Bay, an iconic part of Singapore’s heritage and one of Singapore’s most popular tourist destinations. The dome is in fact, one of the world’s biggest air-conditioned greenhouse.
The conservatory complex at Gardens by the Bay comprises two cooled conservatories – the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest, situated along the edge of Marina Reservoir. The conservatories, designed by WilkinsonEyre and Grant Associates, are intended to be an energy-efficient showcase of sustainable building technologies and to provide an all-weather edutainment space within the Gardens.
