NPSS is a registered photographic society in Singapore. It was formed in 2000 by a group of nature photographers. Our Society is made up of volunteers from all walks of life. Over the years, we have the privilege of seeing many new and “beginner” photographers improving their photographic skills after joining our Society.
The Society Annual General Meeting “AGM”, the highest decision-making body of the Society, elects members for its Executive Committee (the “ExCo”). The ExCo is responsible for the day-to- day management of the Society and execute its mandate.
By opting to become an NPSS Paid Member you will benefit from the full breadth of resources and activities of the Society. Many exclusive and public activities are offered for free or at reduced fees for our members and you can participate in the Society General Meetings and voice your opinion.

WHO CAN APPLY? Open to all photographers residing in Singapore, regardless of nationality. All you have to do is to pay an entry fee of $20 per quarter. NPSS members can take part in this competition for FREE. The grand prizes are based your entries of ALL 3 QUARTERS.
Nesting birds. 3.1 Maintain a distance from nests, nesting colonies, roosts, display areas, weaning dens and feeding sites. For such sensitive site, the use of blinds and remote trigger is encouraged. 3.2 Do not use birdcall playback devices at nesting areas.
