Sep 7, 2022 · Did you try to install one steam games like Watch_dogs or Far Cry games if you having them it might be installed on your steam library try to to install any steam games for example try to install Watch_dogs or Assassin's creed it'll prompt you that you'll need to install Ubisoft connect
Apr 15, 2023 · I just had this same issue, download speed maxing out under 2 MB/s on my fiber connection. Closed the launcher, refunded the game, downloaded the torrent and downloaded the game that way at over 100x faster speed. 13 days was the time left on the download through the launcher, took about 13 minutes on a torrent. And I got my $20 back. Fuck Ubisoft.
These are just my preferences. In Ubisoft Connect, select the three lines top left, settings, and: - uncheck post game notifications - uncheck in-game overlay - uncheck FPS counter in-game - uncheck minimize ubisoft connect to system tray - uncheck launch when windows starts - Select page to display set to Games
Dec 18, 2020 · possible fix from the steam workshop for everyone who finds this in the future. right click task bar then click task manager, if it is running on background without you knowing it (Processes), end task ubisoft then enter again. if it doesn't work then, restart your computer and try again. I fixed mine.

It asks me if iam confirming the download as an admin, i confirm - but the download just doesnt progress even a tiny bit. It is just locked at 0% with like 8000 ...
Seems pretty inconsistent, came here to look for solutions/gripe about how shite Uplay/Ubisoft connect is as was getting 4-5mb a second, 2-3 hour download estimate on 50GB.The speed is all over the place, in the end it turned out to be only ~10 minutes to download as speeds were up and dowbn a lot but generally seemed to settle in the 80-114mb ...

If you just search for ubisoft connect and click on it another window will open up and show you everything that's going on. 1.
Oct 28, 2020 · It’s insane how awful the download speed is on Ubisoft Connect right now. Started downloading Legion at 13:00 today, it’s now 21:00 and 14.63GB out of 36.84 is all that’s done. My internet is capable of up to 30MB/s on Steam no problem yet the max I’ve seen during this entire download is 1.5MB/s with regular dips to 500KB/s and even lower.
